Dr. Douglas knew from a very young age that she would be a veterinarian. This career choice guided her entire youth and she is thrilled to be able to live out her dream. Dr. Douglas graduated from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. She has a strong interest in internal medicine.

In 2011, Dr. Douglas started a non-profit veterinary service, GrenVet, which provides care to animals in Grenada.

In her free time, Dr. Douglas enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and spending quality time with her two adorable cats - Clover and Kaya.

Melissa recently graduated from St. George's University in Grenada with her Masters in Business Administration - Multi-Sector Health Care. Melissa is the proud pet parent of Toad, a 2 year old Greyhound mix. In between her time at Douglas Animal Hospital and parenting Toad, she enjoys playing softball, traveling and baking.

Kayla graduated from the University of Nebraska in May 2011 with a bachelors degree in Veterinary Science and Biochemistry. Her future goals include going to veterinary school to specialize in working with equine. She has a huge passion for animals with her favorite being black labs! When Kayla isn't at Douglas Animal Hospital, she spends her time bowling competitively around the country. She also enjoys spending her free time in her home town of Grand Rapids, MN with her horses, dogs, and cat!

Angela graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth in May 2012 with a B.S. in Biology. In college she completed internships at both the Great Lakes Aquarium and Lake Superior Zoo. Her strong interest in zoo animals, wildlife and small animals led her to pursue a career as a veterinarian. While she prepares to go back to school she is learning all she can while working as a part of our team. In her free time Angela enjoys scuba diving and running.
